Overview
The Abu Dhabi T10, also known as the T10 League, is a franchise league in the United Arab Emirates played in the 10-overs-a-side T10 format and approved by the Emirates Cricket Board. UAE Bulls won the latest completed edition in 2025, beating Aspin Stallions in the final.
The league was founded by Shaji Ul Mulk, chairman of the T10 League, who wanted to showcase UAE talent on a bigger stage through a new 10-over format. The first season was played in Sharjah in December 2017 with six teams, and Kerala Kings beat Punjabi Legends in the final. The ICC officially sanctioned the league in 2018 as a semi-professional tournament.
After a second season in Sharjah in 2018, won by Northern Warriors, the league moved to the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi from 2019 and became known as the Abu Dhabi T10. Two editions were played in 2021: the 2020-21 season in January and February, won by Northern Warriors, and the 2021-22 season in November and December, won by Deccan Gladiators. Franchises have changed often; Maratha Arabians, Pakhtoons, Kerala Kings and Punjabi Legends, among others, are no longer in the league.
Deccan Gladiators are the most successful team with three titles (2021-22, 2022 and 2024), while New York Strikers won in 2023 and UAE Bulls, who competed as Delhi Bulls earlier, won their first title in 2025. The league has drawn ICC anti-corruption scrutiny, with charges brought in 2023 over the 2021 edition. For 2026 the tournament is being restructured under Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub ownership, with the season scheduled for 7 to 20 November 2026.
How it works
Each match is played over 10 overs a side. The league uses a round-robin group stage followed by playoff matches and a final under the Page playoff system. Franchises field international stars alongside UAE-eligible players, and the number of teams has varied from six to ten, with eight in 2025.
